Russ Andrew’s career started by undertaking a formal apprenticeship in the design office of Steelwork Fabricators Sanders & Forster Ltd, working on many school and new build office projects.
Russ then moved to Ove Arup and Partners where he worked on large commercial projects such as the Trocadero Centre in London, the iconic Lloyds Building in Lime Street, London, and a new build cement works for Blue Circle.
In 1984 Russ took up a position as Senior Engineer for Vincent Grant Partnership where he gained valuable experience in the private sector, including projects in Sudan as well as office and commercial projects generally up to £10M in value.
In 1998 Russ moved to McCartney Rose. There Russ continued to work on a wide variety of new build and refurbishment projects up to £12m in value.
In September 2007 Russ joined Rose Associates as an Associate Director and continues to be responsible for a wide variety of commercial and domestic projects, taking a particular interest in challenging refurbishment projects.
