Stephen graduated from Sheffield University and has worked for Consulting Engineers, Contractors and Project Managers in the UK and Africa gaining a wide perspective on the structural design of buildings and process plant structures.
He has also taught structural design at Universities in UK, Germany, Sri Lanka, China and Zimbabwe.
He has been actively involved in the North Thames Regional Group of the Institution of Structural Engineers for many years and was Chairman of the Group from 2003 -05.
He has completed an MSc in Timber Building Conservation. This has deepened his knowledge of Construction and confirmed his liking for working on ‘old buildings’.
